Women Earnings From Tailoring

- Pazhaverkadu, a seashore town people who were in fishing industry mainly suffered by Tsunami during 2004. Sevabharathi did relief work and continue with service activities till now. Training in tailoring and computer was started 2005. Livelihood of many women in Pazhaverkadu have risen through Sister Niveditha Tailoring Training Centre started by Sevabharathi Tamilnadu. Many women who had training from this centre have started tailoring business on their own.
- Srimathi who is residing in Sattankuppam and her husband is working as contract laborer in a private company.
- They have one son and one daughter. Smt Mathi who got trained in our centre and bought one tailoring machine and presently doing tailoring business from her home. She is able to earn Rs. 3,000/- per month to support her family and she feels happy about this.
- Like this there are many examples who have been benefited from out of training through our training centre.
