Sevabharathi Tamilnadu is a movement for Service. It derives inspiration from the profound saying of Swami Vivekananda, ‘Serve Man as the manifestation of God’.


Sevabharathi Tamilnadu was formally registered in 1999 as a socio-cultural organisation. With this fundamental principle of service in view, Sevabharathi strives to see that every person who is served, raises himself up to stand on his own legs with self esteem, confidence and self reliance.


Sevabharathi Tamilnadu’s seva projects is conceived as a wholesome mix of five service dimensions, ie. ‘Pancha Kaarya’. The five service dimensions are Education, Health Care, Self Reliance, Social Welfare and Disaster Management & Rehabilitation.


Through the ‘Pancha Kaarya’, Sevabharathi brings about an all-round development in individuals, families and thereby, our nation.


Over the last 20 years, Sevabharathi Tamilnadu has immensely impacted the lives of under privileged to ensure that the burden of poverty does not dilute the fabric of our culture and tradition in them.


Sevabharathi Tamilnadu is one of the very few voluntary organisations in the state that specialises in undertaking relief and rehabilitation work after major calamities. The role of Sevabharathi Tamilnadu in the relief work undertaken immediately after the 2004 Tsunami, 2015 Chennai Flood, 2018 Kerala Flood and Gaja Cyclone came in for all-round appreciation.

Sevabharathi Tamilnadu presently focus on Social Welfare Service Program comprising activities in the area of Education, Health, Self Reliance and Social Welfare. Presently the above program being conducted in 115 places in Tamilnadu.
